Clockjack Oven, Soho
I bloomin love chicken. A couple of years ago I never thought I’d say this, but, I might even go so far as saying that chicken is my favourite meat and over the last year or so, I have trawled London to eat lots of the stuff. Last week my friend Kim and I visited Clockjack Oven in Soho to feast on chicken. And lots of it. The restaurant’s website states that customers will have ‘The best tasting and most succulent, lovingly prepared rotisserie experience.’ and I have to say, I think I agree. We wanted to try a few bits so shared 4 pieces of chicken, chicken bites, the Clockjack Oven chicken burger, plus a portion of chips and a tomato, red onion and basil salad. The waiter arrived and filled our table with dishes. There was a lot to eat. But we did it. And we enjoyed it all with a range of Clockjack Oven homemade sauces – ranch, chilli and barbeque.
