A Colourful Afternoon at Headmasters

I honestly believe one of the best feelings in life is walking out of the hairdressers after a long and relaxing appointment, hair glowing, bouncing from side to side, full of body, a la Jennifer Aniston from those infamous L’Oreal adverts. The last time I visited Headmasters in Mayfair was no exception. I had just enjoyed three hours with Siobhan, Colour Director, who took her time to make sure that I was going to walk out with near perfect locks. Siobhan analysed my hair and we chose a semi permanent red but I had a surprise in store. She wanted to use foil hilights to colour a few strands in order to make the colour look as natural as possible. From what I remember I have only ever had foil highlights once in my life so this was an extra added treat for me. Hair salons. I love them. From the moment I enter until the moment I leave, I feel utterly content. It never fails to amaze me how a small change to the hair on your head can make you feel so different. A couple of weeks ago I visited Daniel Galvin, one of the world’s leading colour salons in London’s West End, for a semi permanent colour treatment. I have had red hair for over two years now and I haven’t even slightly tired of it. By the time I visited Daniel Galvin, the colour had really started to fade.
