#NewTradition #10 – Latte Art Love Birds
Last week I attended a Lavazza Masterclass in Covent Garden to learn a bit more about the history for the brand, along with how to make the perfect cup of coffee. We were shown how to use the frothing wand on our Limited Edition Wimbledon A Modo Mio machines and I made the most delicious cappuccino I had ever made up until that point, but we didn’t have enough time to experiment with latte art. I have wanted to be able to do latte art for a long time so last night I shut myself in my kitchen, armed with nearly 3 litres of milk, over 25 Lavazza A Modo Mio capsules plus a few coffee cups and set to work with my machine. Latte art wasn’t as easy as I first thought. The first few attempts were pretty poor and it took a while to get to understand correct ratio of milk, how high (and low) to hold the jug, how fast to pour and when to move the jug around.
